My experience with Medemerge is still ongoing. The facility came recommended by my employer who apparently had a great experience with getting a rapid COVID test. I was astonished at how disorganized everything was and how unhelpful the staff was! It made the DMV look like an efficient place with super helpful and pleasant employees. I came at 11:30am today and gave my phone number to one of the employees and he told me that the wait would be 4 hours. I explicitly asked, Is it a real 4 hours or will you call me in like an hour? He assured me it would be 4 hours. A little under 7 hours later and I am still here waiting. I spoke with another employee asking if they would still even see patients today and if I would at least get a call telling me to come back tomorrow. She asked what time I came and said, Oh, she definitely hasn t gotten to you yet. My suggestion would be to send text updates an hour from the initial projected time to let people know if the time has been pushed back and with a new time. Another suggestion-keep your staff apprised of these updates as well as they currently act as in the dark at the patients. And lastly, maybe....just maybe you should just have people make appointments. It seems to work for a lot of other places. Wish me luck...hopefully they ll get to me before Thanksgiving.
