Called Medved on a Wednesday to make an appointment for my car. The check engine light came on. They said they could get me in on Friday which is perfectly acceptable. I also said while it was in why don't we do an oil change and tire rotation, which they said they could do. My last request was for a loaner vehicle as I needed to get to work and did not want to wait while they attempted to diagnose my car and change the oil. I was assured that would not be a problem and they would have a loaner ready for me and I just needed my drivers license, insurance and a credit card. When I arrived at the dealership and told the service person what I needed he took notes, but than gave me push back on the loaner car. Are you sure you cant wait 1-2 hours? I said I was sure I had a meeting. He then sent me from Chevy service to the Cadillac dealer in the parking lot next door to wait at a desk for someone to come get me a loaner. I waited 20 mins without anyone showing up so I went back to the chevy dealership to find out what the deal was. Apparently the person I was sent to was off today. The service guy than calls around and gets a pair of keys for a loaner. After he pulls it around he tells me we can't give it to you, it has hail damage that has cracked the windshield and it should not be driven. At this point I just need to get to work so I agree to take the shuttle service. 6 hours later from my office I call to see what the update is on my car. They tell me they only have 1 chevy volt certified technician and my car should be ready Monday or Tuesday at the latest.... WHAT... when I asked what happened to the 1-2 hour wait time I was told originally I was just informed they were very busy and only had the 1 certified tech. The entire service experience was poor at Medved. This was my second service appointment after buying my chevy volt at Medved. I am quite disappointed with the entire service experience and resent being bounced around and fed completely different answers through out the entire process.
