Bought a 2015 Rubicon a few weeks ago as "certified preowned" During the sales process it was discovered that the navigation did not work in the radio. Sales said no problem, would have service schedule a time to reset it. Could not be reset so service ended up ordering a new radio & replacing it. No problem, went ahead & signed paperwork to buy along with an extended warranty on this certified preowned vehicle. Radio replaced, navigation works fine. In addition to that, I also negotiated new tires for the Rubicon as the mud tires on the front wear wearing bad & they were insanely loud on the road and this is my daily driver. Dealership agreed to replace the tires as part of the negotiating process to buy the Jeep.

A week after purchase it was discovered this hardtop Rubicon leaks like an absolute sieve. Standing water in the passenger & driver side floor boards. Had service look at it and water test it & the seals need to be replaced along with a "heater seal" per estimate from service. Ok no problem, purchased an extended warranty. Come to find out absolutely no coverage on the extended warranty that I paid $1,800 for.

I have tried contacting Kevin who is the used car manager 3 times through the receptionist up front. Latest call was last evening (2/28/19) on the way home around 515pm. Receptionist was super nice and I was told Kevin or a manager would get in touch with me asap. Previously I had emailed Kevin and have received no response from that email either. So, 3 phone calls & an email with zero response from this guy or any manager at Big O.

Between an atrocious extended warranty, lack of response on a managers part to discuss options to resolve a customers issue, I cannot in anyway recommend Big O Dodge. First & last vehicle to ever purchase from this dealership. I don't expect a used to be perfect but I certainly don't expect a "certified preowned" vehicle to leak water like crazy either nor do I expect an extended warranty that cost me $1,800 to provide zero coverage

Awful customer experience due to the complete lack of response.

***3/5/19 Update. Received a call from Kevin yesterday afternoon to discuss the vehicle leak issue. He confirmed that the leak issue that was input by service as a "heater seal" should have been a "header seal" Our conversation was good and level headed. After our discussion Big O has agreed in goodwill to replace the seals and make it right so I have an appointment on Monday March 11 and they will also be providing a loaner vehicle as well as they will have the vehicle for a few days. I did explain to Kevin that I was seriously disappointed that the extended warranty did nothing in this case based on the money spent for it. Conversation went well & its on track to have the issue resolved.
