I am not sure if I can find the words to describe how unbelievable this place is. I feel like the DC Wellness team saved me during a very dark time in my life. My husband and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl in October, however she was extremely colicky, had horrible reflux and her digestive system was not firing properly which put her in constant pain. She wouldn t sleep unless she was being held and if we were not bouncing her on an exercise ball while she was awake she would be screaming. I was not sleeping at all and could definitely feel the effects of sleep deprivation creeping into my life. My friends and family were worried about my overall well being because I wasn t able to eat during the day, I was in rough shape after listening to my babe cry for weeks on end and they were very serious about me needing some help mentally. I didn t get out of the house because I was embarrassed to be anywhere with a tiny baby that didn t stop crying. I knew something had to give and started talking to some friends about what I could do. A few recommended pediatric chiropractic and to be honest I was very skeptical that it could actually do anything for my child. I randomly saw DC Wellness as I drove past and decided to look it up on Google. The reviews I saw seemed promising, but I don t think anyone can really do justice to just how amazing these people are. I just had this feeling that they might be able to help and I am so happy I trusted my gut. I remember walking in and immediately felt the compassion and how much this team cared about helping my babe and I get to a better, calmer place. Nicole greeted us with a smile and I never felt judged that my 2 month old daughter was screaming as we walked in. Dr. Connie took time to chat with me (not even phased that my daughter was screaming the entire conversation) about what had been going on with my daughter and then personally asked me how I was doing as well. She took time to evaluate us and come up with a plan for how my babe and I would get better. The compassion she showed for us and her genuine personality gave me hope she could help. Within 3 times of my daughter and I being adjusted, I can honestly say that things started changing. My daughter started sleeping better, didn t seem to be in as much pain, and even smiled at us! My adjustments made me feel mentally lighter and like a true weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Now, if my daughter might have a night she is up every hour, I ll let Dr. Connie know and the night she is adjusted she sleeps 5/6 hours again! I tell people Dr. Connie and the DC Wellness team are like our angels watching over us. These people are unbelievable and truly a blessing in our lives! I cannot recommend them enough. If you are thinking about pediatric chiropractic, stop thinking and make an appointment now! The only regret I have, is that I didn't find them sooner!
