This bar offers a variety of beers and ciders (which seem to rotate pretty often) and a bunch of classic arcade game selections. The prices are pretty standard for the area, so you're looking at about $7 or more for a drink.

The games aren't usually taken up even on busy nights like Friday and Saturday. Playing some of the multiplayer games makes for a good ice breaker if your looking to meet people. Bit of a warning though about the busier nights--it's loud and extremely crowded. When I say crowded, I mean you could be waiting 10 to 15 minutes outside for a chance to get in. As for the loud part, they play mostly rock music that competes with the crowd. Groups tend to take up the few tables available for most of the night. It's definitely a place you come to with friends to unwind after a long week.

The take away--if your looking for a quiet night of gaming and drinking, this isn't the place for you, but if you're into a variety of beers, don't mind standing around for most of the night, and enjoy mingling then give Barcade a shot.

Best night (when it's not completely dead but not ungodly crowded): Thursday
