I am currently a Junior at NYU and took FLVS classes. FLVS is what you make of it. You can complete a course in 1 month or 7 months depending on your goals. The main problem with FLVS is that 95% of answers to assignments, quizzes, & tests are online! Students who pass by cheating will be in for a nightmare if they pursue college. As for those who complain about the "Work at your pace policy," any teacher who CARES about his/her students will contact the student/parents if you are inactive or behind in the course. These same students are the one's that fail in college because the professor's don't even care to know your name and whether you attend class or not. And for those who complain about the "workload," be grateful that your class grade does not solely depend on 3 tests as is the case in many college courses.
