Not worth your time.

Not worth your time.
Poor service. We will not be back. We brought our son here after a visit to Doernbecker (having his blood checked. 2 years cancer free, a big night! We asked them to do something small. The manager said she would do a candle and maybe even have some staff sing.
They did NOTHING as in NOT A THING! Disappointing and clearly my fault for imposing.
The server was nothing special the food was good. The kids menu offered a good value. Issues with service included: we couldn't get a second loaf of bread (one loaf for 5 people), my wife and I had ice tea. 4 packets of sugar on the table when asking for more sugar the server brought 3 packets literally 3 packets (evidently some shortage of sugar packets exists here and I seem to use to much of it), getting a refill was challenging to the point that I received only one, water never arrived (we requested it twice).
The place was busy with no real wait to be seated. It was poor form for me to impose while they handled a moderate crowd they must have been completely overwhelmed though 1/4 of the place was still empty. Clearly my fault that I received such poor service as I did chose to take my family here. I won't return I suggest you avoid the place. The server received a mediocre tip as his actions demanded. I phoned the manager to thank her for doing nothing at all. she apologized in a normal mechanical fashion.
After posting a review on Yelp I was contacted by the so called general manager. He presumed to say he understood cause he has kids too. Clearly the same thing watching your son almost die to a disease and having children. He said he wanted to do something for me. I gave them my personal address and said I prefer a note from the owners acknowledging the issues at our visit. A month later and guess what, NOTHING just like the night of our dinner. They cannot even provide a simple note. What a horrible place. Why offer something to not deliver. Why say yes to people then do nothing. I assume this was to hide this poor treatment from the owners. I would be ashamed to call myself a manager working at this place. Support families with cancer and stay away. Support families and stay away. Support small local business that value your patronage and stay away from this corporate monster.
