You have to take a bus to get between terminals.
They would put you on a cold bus after the boarding pass check at the gate, and leave you there for a long, long, time, before taking you to the plane.
If you are transferring planes, to go somewhere international, you do not follow the international transfer sign, you follow the exit sign.
Lounges at T2 are good. There are no lounges at T1.
