I have been on several of the CAF tours, including the river cruise, which I always recommend to friends visiting the city. The docents are always friendly and knowledgeable. The storefront on Michigan Ave has all the souvenirs and books you could want, plus other interesting knickknacks (think weird kitchen gadgets and funny tote bags). Behind the store is a huge scale model of the loop with interactive elements, which is also fun to take tourists to.
