I seldom give a 1 star but this was deserved. Set an appt a week ago to get my 2014 X5 checked out, when we purchased it from Schomp last Sept it had a clunking noise under the front that they repaired before we took delivery, maybe a control arm? The noise has appeared again so I asked the advisor if it was covered if it was a faulty part from the repair they had done in Sept. I was told that if it was they would work with BMW to get it fixed. Also didn't tell me there was a $189 diagnostics fee. Showed up for 10:30 appt yesterday and was told by the advisor there was $189 diagnostics fee and if a repair was necessary and I had them do it they would drop the $189. I explained the situation and she said they only warranty their work if the customer pays for the repair so there was no warranty! I bought the car from them, didn't I pay for it? And why should that matter? Does't Schomp BMW stand behind their work? Totally wasted at least an hour of my time driving from Castle Rock. Please reimburse me $189 for my time that was wasted by your inconsistent practices, very frustrating experience.
