Had my hip replaced by Dr. Ball and then both shoulders replaced by Dr. Munier. Both surgeons and their respective teams were exceptional in every respect. The Anesthesia team who inserted the nerve block then took care of me during surgery were fantastic at their jobs with great bedside manners..
The nursing staff on the orthopedic floor were likewise professional and caring. I would send any friend or family member to UCSD exclusively for their orthopedic needs....going to a hospital is never an easy thing, but all the folks I have had the pleasure of meeting at UCSD medical are truly exceptional people who are really focused on their patients....
