We went into A& E over the bank holiday weekend as my son complained of tummy ache. Some people are complaining about having to wait. Yes we had to wait too, but bearing in mind that all staff had to stick to covid safety measures, and that they were busy with patients who needed urgent care it wasn't actually that long.
All staff in the pediatric A&E department, the staff in the wards L30, L42 & surgical team have been brilliant! When a nurse asked who my son's favourite super hero was he simply replied "The NHS, you're super heroes!", I think that shows what a great job everyone is doing. A big thank you to everyone. Keep up the good work x
