I did a 3 month long course (Data Science for Biologists) and also acted as the Campus Ambassador for pine biotech for 6 months. I got to learn things beyond the book. I got educated about the fascinating world of big data bioinformatics. It was a pleasure to interact with professionals at their field who were ever so humble and helpful. Not only was I able to build my wits about tools and algorithms crucial to building RNA-seq, genomics, virology and machine learning pipelines, I also became a part of the Pine community where I was happily and actively contributing and sharing my bits. The team of Pine biotech contributes greatly towards biological research and development through their modular and intuitive multi-omics analysis and the education platform. Their support and education team works actively towards nurturing enthusiasts and learners (like me!) about the world of big data bioinformatics.
