Tiffany Raver Review of Hyatt Regency Denver at Colora...
I may be one of the few people to give a low ratin...
I may be one of the few people to give a low rating on this hotel. We started at the Drury Inn in Stapleton for 2 days and then snagged a deal on Priceline for one night at the Hyatt Regency. We hoped it would be the highlight of our trip because it was a $459 room on sale for $180... We should have paid another $140 for the Drury. In comparison, the rooms, which were the same configuration but smaller at the Hyatt, had nothing at all extra to offer. The hotel, though grand in it's size, location and entrance, simply failed to up the bar on anything else. As made clear by numerous signs, the Hyatt is not kid friendlyh. The pool, though salt water which is awesome, was worn down and deteriorated in a dark room. A delicious, Free breakfast buffet at the Drury, made this hotel's steep $15 per person breakfast seem insulting and their tiny $7 soup was terrible and uncooked. Parking! $35 per night! This is the highest parking fee we've paid in Denver to date, Drury was totally free. It must be all about location, 15 minutes closer to downtown cost us $110 more for a night and did not deliver.
