No stars if I could very poor service. I took my audi a6 engine guard into Audi of plano for installation and received a call within an hour after dropping the car off stating that one of my brackets were broken but it could be fixed by using a zip tie in its place. The next day I went in to pick up my vehicle and checked under it to see if the work had been completed correctly. It was not I was being charged $98.00 and the mechanic didn't use just one zip tie, instead he used all zip ties to install the entire engine guard. I spoke with Byran the serviceman and informed him that I was told only one would be used and I was not going to be paying for zip ties when screws, metal clips was required to install it. However, I was issued a refund, but here is the main issue I have with Audi of Plano. I arrived home from Audi and the entire engine guard was on the ground. The next day I took it to Firestone to have it repaired and was told the front bracket was completely broken and needed replacing. Audi of plano never mentioned that this part needed to be replaced only that it could be fixed with a zip tie and the engine guard would stay. This installation should have been done professionally, instead it was just thrown together. My vehicle was recently purchased alittle over a week ago and I did not expect such poor service. If I knew this was the service that was going to be provided I would have never purchased a vehicle from this dealership. I have wasted so much time trying to get this part installed. My car is currently parked and not driveable because I have to order the bracket and screw metal clips to have the engine guard reinstalled the correct way. I will not be returning to Audi of plano for any additional services. Update:****** Received a message asking to call the general manager of Audio plano to try to resolve the poor service I had received but when I contacted the number below I was told he was busy and would call me back. Instead he had an assistant call me who was very rude and told me that they couldn't fix everything because of the year of the car. I had bought this car 2 weeks ago and all I went in for was the repair of the engine guard and nothing more! I would expect professional services being offered especially when I am a paying customer. They treated me as if they were giving me something for free when actually I had to pay. Audi of plano need to get their act together and learn how to be more professional and courtesy to customers. we are the reasons to why they have a job! I will be contacting their corporate office.
