When I returned to Toronto 6 years ago I searched the city for a yoga studio that had the teachers & a space that inspired me. I loved the location but it is the teachers, especially Jodi Fischtein that won me over. Over the years I have introduced numerous friends and a couple of cousins to Jodi's class... they are now all converts. Even though Jodi is a personal fan favourite for me all the teachers at 889 are especially gifted. They speak to you where you are in the process whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner. The 889 Menu is like a perfect yoga buffet...the classes, teachers and practices are as diverse as your tastes.
