Seems like the best deal in the area with the misleading pictures and price tag. Currently staying in a king guest room, which is in their Annex building. Our room has marks and stains all over the walls, very worn and stained carpeting, no headboard, and is located directly under the stairwell - overall, feels like a jail cell. Bathroom is drab and dirty. Unless you book a premier suite in the main building, don't bother with this place - look elsewhere. Wish I would have looked for other options when seeking accomdations near Banff. This "resort" was to be the end of our trip to Alberta, and be the nicest stay of our vacation.. to say we are disappointed is an understatement. I expressed my concerns with the front desk, and was simply offered the same room but on the 3rd floor, or to upgrade to a 1 bed suite in the main building for an additional $40/night. At the price they charge for the standard guest rooms in the Annex (aka motel 6 of the Grande Rockies "Resort"), this place clearly has the objective of getting you to book and switch upon arrival, all for a steep charge. Really wish we would have booked somewhere else, anything.. a hostel would be nicer.

Update: after 2 hours of being here, we realize the shower drain is clogged. A nice 5 minute shower with feet soaking in a standing pool of water. What a joke! Avoid avoid avoid. This place has provided our great trip a downturn to say the least.

Final verdict: room was not cleaned, and towels not exchanged after our first night. We left at 5 am and returned at 3 pm...
