Our first time rafting ever so we took the relatively easy trip on the lower South Fork of the American River. I can't fully convey how much fun we had and how great this organization is. It was a gorge-ous (bah dum chhhh) trip and we felt safe the whole trip. Our guide Hayden really made the trip. Knowledgeable and engaging, she took the time to not only explain the scenery and wildlife, but to chat with each person, asking them what they do, where they're from, etc. She offered explanations about what we were about to encounter and how we were going to tackle it. She was as much a fan of us as we were of her and it really made for a memorable trip. 11/10 would take a trip with ARTA again!!
