BOTTOM LINE-
Stay in Phoenix

Hilton Safety- Police Officer presence (6 officers) for over 1.5 on 5th floor was concerning late evening-officers were photographing room-Front Desk response with the repeated phrase "minor issue, nothing to worry about" was not a satisfying response to our concerns.

Hilton Breakfast staff in a hurry, seemed inconvenienced when we requested to order off menu-we were informed that "all the items are on the buffet" when we wanted to order something fresh. We were not greeted at seating, but well into our meal, coffee/drink orders were only brought after we had to get a server's attention. We were not checked on again, except for staff to snatch our group breakfast coupons off our tables.

Hilton Breakfast quality, sausage links pink on inside all 4 days-salmon not as fresh as it could've been. Ran out of yogurt all 3 days, no bananas 2 days, coffee was fresh and hot, appreciated french vanilla creamer request being honored, until last day when it ran out (on a Monday 8am).

Hilton Room noise-plumbing, toliet flushing heard, water running, stomping, walls very thin above us.

Hilton Housekeeping -Pull out sofa was not made up, had to request sheets & do it ourselves. Pull out sofa mattress extremely uncomfortable, springs were squeaky.
Requested towels were not brought one evening@ 5p, called housekeeping again @9p & then finally brought POOL TOWELS with funky odor at 10pm.

Hilton Maintenance -TV in master room did not function late in evening, maintenance arrived promptly & fixed issue-it was greatly appreciated.

Hilton Staff -The Bellman at front desk provided excellent guest service and possessed 4 star manners/demeanor, very polished- it was greatly appreciated.

Hilton Bar area- Bar staff initially courteous but overwhelmed during dinner time, could not get food order in timely manner, (after quite a large tab of food & beverage - both cocktails & non-alcoholic) 3 of our group brought food in & sat at side table away from bar & the rest of our group- after we were rudely told we could not have outside food in area. Understandably Hilton was to make money but if there are not enough staff scheduled to keep up, what are guests supposed to do? The male employee who informed us of no outside food-did not offer an apology for lack of service or spend any time being cordial to us.

We have stayed at Hilton Properties in past and have an upcoming Colorado trip and are undecided if we would give another HILTON property a chance.
