I spent nine hours in the emergency department with my 90 year old mother. The ER nurses were very nice but hardly saw the ER physician for more than 4 minutes and was not kept informed of my mother s condition. My mother was admitted after 9 hours stay in the ER and taken to 7 east where the staff were nice along with the hospitalist who saw my mother the next day at about 2 pm. We were discharged home on Monday and when I got home I noticed my mother had a large scrap wound in her knee that no one had notice. It is consider to be a trauma center but it didn t look like one when we arrived. If you don t have your provider at this Hospital, I would try to avoid coming here.
