I started with Koentact at the level A2, where you can say "hello" but not much else. Now, after 7 courses and 1.5 years, my level of Dutch has increased significantly. When I speak Dutch on the streets, Dutch people continue in Dutch - not in English.

Like many reviewers say, it doesn't feel like a classroom, the teachers are friendly, helpful, and flexible. They usually make sure everyone understands the topic before moving further, and they will answer any questions, even off-topic ones. I enjoy the classes a lot.

I didn't have the best experience on my very first course. The teacher was very slow, made inappropriate remarks, would talk the whole time instead of letting the students practice, and the group was way too large.

All the courses afterwards, however, were very nice and better organised, the other teachers were nice and friendly, the exercise was plenty, and the groups were smaller.

Unfortunately, you never know until the very last moment which teacher would lead your next course. I hoped very much that I don't end up with the first one again.

I am finishing the highest level that they offer, and, unfortunately, they don't have courses anymore. I'm sure there is demand: to practice speaking more, to become fluent, to advance to the C1-level. If they open one or two more classes for higher levels, I would definitely attend.
