Horrible experience. My A/C system didn't seem to be working as it should (running all the time and the house not really cooling down). I called them up and they sent someone out to do a "complimentary performance test." He looked at the unit in my attic for about 3 minutes and then went outside to hook up his gauges up to the system. He stated the results were "very bad." It was 5lbs low on refrigerant and the evaporator coil is bad and leaking. He also said my system was too small for the square footage and proceeded to quote me an entire new system... but also just to replace the "faulty" coil if I wanted to keep the small system.

The house is less than six years old and I doubt they installed the wrong system. I then called another company for an assessment. They inspected the coil and found it to be perfectly fine and said I was only 1 lb low on refrigerant. Their explanation was that as people hook their gauges up, you can get a bit low and that there may be a slow leak somewhere to small to find.

All in all, this is the second time John Moore completely exaggerated the problem just to drum up business. Beware. I'm also filing a BBB complaint.
