Update:
- the manager on site (Ahmed) took the time to come and explain / apologise following our review. He was responsive and appreciated the feedback we left.

Previous review - which I still think is relevant:
- 5 star status is extremely misleading
- disappointing service ( especially during check-in and check out). Had one staff during checkout at the desk for a resort this size. We also had to wait for 2+ hours to get our room, even when we arrived during check-in hours
- sub par food at restaurants
- breakfast experience was appalling - extremely busy and no real focus on maintaining social distancing etc.
