Every minute at Alinea was unforgettable and none of us wanted the night to end. My friends and I were fortunate enough to snag coveted spots at the kitchen table this past Sunday night where we had front row seats to all the action. We were taken through a twenty-something course medley of the most sensory-stunning dinner any of us have ever experienced. This meal was a perfect example of a dinner that was not just a delight for the taste buds but a feast for all the senses. Some courses were visually impressive with plays on texture and light, while others included fragrant scents pumped into the room for added effect, a few were accompanied with musical pieces ranging from classical to jazz hip hop that correlated with the dish being served, and the final dessert was a glorious masterpiece in itself. The icing on top of this culinary cake was watching Chef Achatz and his extremely well-synchronized team of experts crafting a dining experience that was nothing short of magical. Truly a memorable dinner that should be on everyone's bucket list.
