Union Square is the perfect place to start your first visit to San Francisco. The square itself is surrounded by super chic stores like Bvlgari and Tiffany plus amazing department stores like Macy's. You'll also have the chance to see the historic St. Francis hotel operated by Westin. If you are staying at the hotel the glass wall elevators will allow you to take amazing pictures from above. If you enjoy walking around cities, downtown area, the shore, pier 39, tramway station and Oakland Bay Bridge are relatively close. I even walked all the way to Mission and Old Mission. Awesome experience.
