The only worst thing than being hit by an uninsure...

The only worst thing than being hit by an uninsured driver is being hit by a driver insured by UAIC. How and why the Florida department of insurance lets them operate is beyond me. Unfortunately, one cannot give UAIC 0 stars.
I was hit over two months ago. It was the other drivers fault. I attempted to contact UAIC in the beginning as did my insurance company. At first the adjuster answered but then the adjusters changed and for over a month I attempted to contact UAIC. I continued to call and leave voicemails. I would call the customer service and get transferred around until I was hung up on.
UAIC did not get me a rental vehicle although the accident was their customer's fault. After paying for rental vehicle out of pocked and loosing use of my vehicle for over 45 days, I still have not been reimbursed.
My next step is a complaint with the Florida Department of Insurance while I prepare a lawsuit against UAIC for damages, depreciated vehicle value, legal fees and emotional pain and suffering. I will not let this go just because of the treatment I have received. You cannot sell legal policies and then avoid your legal obligations!
