Castle with a remarkable number of windows, making it lighter than most other castles I have been to. The last owner (lady Baillies) has completely redecorated and also furnished. The gardens are very beautiful!
Restaurant is good.
Indeed a pity about the very high price, for locals it is of course ideal 1 ticket for the whole year but unnecessary for the other tourists. The rating would be higher if the ticket price was lower.
Due to the many tourists and the decoration, it also has a bit of an "efteling" content.
