Not a lot that I can add to these reviews other than strength in numbers, but here goes....

As F@W were the only company I could find that could supply a desk of the dimensions I wanted, I didn't bother reading the reviews on here hard lesson learned.

I ordered and paid for it late-April, delivery scheduled for around a month later. Received an update within a few days saying delivery delayed by another week. Fair enough - difficult times, I thought.



Mid-June I gave them a one-week deadline to deliver or refund, nothing happened. Cancelled the order, told them I'd sourced a replacement and gave a deadline to refund - nothing happened. Then would you believe, a week later I got another e-mail telling me delivery was delayed for another month. Reminded them that I'd cancelled the order, told them not to attempt delivery as it would be refused and again requested a refund.

A week later I got an e-mail saying that the cancellation had been processed and that a refund would follow within 10 working days. As this still hadn't arrived 3 weeks later I phoned again (from a landline this time and on the new number). Was told that the warehouse still hadn't processed the cancellation and the young lady promised to investigate and call or e-mail back with an update. Yeah, you can probably guess....

And then, 4 days later, got a TNT notification of a delivery from a company called Dorel Home Furnishings, scheduled for 2 working days later. No details of the item other than weight, but that and a quick look at their website was enough to convince me that this was the desk being sent from a third-party. Spent that late Friday afternoon having an online chat with TNT Customer Services, explained the situation and told them to cancel the delivery. Contacted Dorel via their online form and F@W via e-mail to advise them of the fact. No feedback or update from any of them since and, of course, 4 days later, TNT turned up.

Obviously I refused delivery and finally, a week ago, I got my refund. They're lucky I'm not pursuing them for the phone costs and inconvenience too. An absolute shambles, avoid like the proverbial.
