The community I live in is supposedly drug free. However, a resident heavily smokes marijuana that comes into my apartment and lingers for hours on end. I was promised a new unit by the on-site manager twice but even after I confirmed I wanted the unit, she gave it away. I had another housing option that I turned down based on the promise I could move to a new unit in my current community, only for the rug to be pulled out from under me. While I love the building, I can t say that I have loved my experience. I ve had to vacate my own unit in several occasions because of the drug fumes and as a new mother, not only is this a health issue for my child, we re in the middle of a pandemic. Securing a new place is difficult which is why I was delighted there was a new unit we could move to. The answer just gave it to someone else after promising it to me and now my only option is to once again go on a home search. This has been a terrible experience and not one I will recommend to anyone else.
