Admit your mistake and apologise.rather than been defensive. Hca, nurses acting as tin gods, and if you were the doctors or surgeons, then every patients would have been dead and forgotten.
Be civil and be nice and stop scaring the children who come to your ward, because they can see that sour face of yours.
