Well lynx is the worst transit system (at least in the United States), I've ever seen. The busses consistently run ahead (mornings, weekends and holidays) and behind (afternoon/night) schedule. The drivers are incredibly incompetent and typically have no idea where they even are. Ask one directions and see! The only people they can seem to keep employed are the otherwise unemployable. They fraternize excessively with, racially and sexually harass the passengers. If you complain about the service the customer service department basically provides you with some empathy and the company does absolutely nothing to fix the problem. Typically only the incredibly poor ride the bus here, so you'll be sitting amongst the ratchetest of the ratchets. The routes are so long and slow it typically takes about 2 1/2 hours to get somewhere that's 15 minutes by car. You typically have to connect with another bus which uhm well, good luck with that! Now your 2 1/2 hour commute becomes 3 1/2 hours, if you have good luck that day. The stops are typically uncovered (in rainy, super hot Florida) and lynx claims are about 2 blocks away from each other. Apparently this calculation equals stopping every 10 seconds on busy roads or about every few miles in less populated areas. This is all good if (and only if) the driver considers where you're standing to be the "official" stop. This seems to be subject to interpretation with the drivers and is notoriously known as the lynx "drive by." I don't know, maybe the driver just couldn't see the guy in the prison jumpsuit. As friends and I have said, Lynx is great (if you have nothing to do and all day to do it) otherwise beg, borrow and steal to avoid it.

Edit: Well I've searched far and wide from Florida to California and now even Alaska to find transit worse than Lynx. Im now proud to announce that LYNX IS NUMBER ONE AT BEING THE WORST NATIONWIDE! Congrats Lynx on being good-at-something good-for-nothings!
