we would never ever buy with gleeson again. we are a young couple who saved money up for our very first own home. first of all the completion date of the house was delayed about 3 times, all together it was about 3 months later than expected. this would not be a big problem if they would just simple NOT lie to customers. everybody (if you can get hold of someone) tells you a different fairy tail about why things are not happening. they promise you that everything is going to be done the next day (well, of course this is not the case) i emailed the customer service team, because they told me to do so, this is now a month ago, still no answer. as soon as they got your money, nothing happens, no one cares.
The brick work of the house was fab! everything on the inside except tiling and carpets was a big mess (cracked tiles, leaking taps, poorly fitted kitchen, wrong front door, sewer smell in bathroom, awfully fitted doors, toilet that won t flush, wet garage and so on) we feel betrayed and left alone. gleesons behaving is just disrespectful. we are going to fix things ourselfs as from gleesons side nothing happens. better save money for a bit longer and go with another company!
(if gleeson pushes you to give them the money at the completion day, i would not give it to them until all problems
are fixed, maybe this would help? we would do it if we could turn back time....)
