My husband and myself checked in May 14th. It was in morning around before we could check in to our room with our reservation However, at check in the front desk said if you would like to upgrade for 10.00 more a day we can get you in a room now or you can wait for your reservation time at 3pm. So we chose to upgrade. Mistake #1. The bathroom still had hair all over it. The baseboards in the bathroom didnt look like it had been cleaned forever. The wall behind the beds had not been wiped down, as there were hand prints and a drink had been splattered on it. I dont think it had been vacuumed as there was pieces of food by the desk. Overall it was not an upgrade at all. It was a rip off just to get more money from their guests. The checkin were rude and didnt want to listen to anything I had to say and just pushed me aside. Then I asked for a later check out on the 17tn and they said the noted it. Which they didnt because when I checked out they saw no notes about a late check out and the lady was nasty. We've stayed at Excalibur twice before and loved it. After this stay we will not be going back. They halls going up to our room were dirty. Just very unhappy about the entire stay and staff.
