My wife and I was trying to find a place for our wedding anniversary. We found pipestem cottages on line and decided to call and check. While on the phone with them they told us about having a fireplace and everything you would need for the stay minus the food. We traveled here from North Carolina last night. Upon arrival we noticed there was a fireplace but no wood inside. The wood outside was wet and wouldn't burn. I called and asked for some dry wood and they said they would bring me some. We left to get some dinner and came back to 3 or 4 pieces of Kindling on the porch. Therefore the romantic night in front of the fireplace was out. Also there was no bathroom supplies such as shampoo or soap. Really ruined the night out I had planned for the wife. If you want a place to stay if your here hunting this is the place but don't bring your spouse here for a cozy night out. It's 9:21 and check out is 10:00am which is way to early. So I had to write this review before I checked out.
