Unbelievable the incompetence. You cannot get a competent person on the phone. Customer service is obviously out-sourced and there is no one capable of moving beyond a script. They calculate your taxes on a simple cookie-cutter math basis which may cover the vast majority of client solutions. However, a jurisdiction within my calculation is not applied to my improvement value. They cannot understand this and continue to apply rate against my entire assessed value. They try to circumvent this through offering a home exemption credit that has no correlation to the math error they are making. I finally got a supervisor on the phone last year regarding this problem after about 10 iterations and he resolved in a matter of 30 minutes. Here we are in 2020 same issue, 10 calls in with incompetent outsourced customer reps and no resolution. I will be filing paperwork to withdraw their representing on my behalf next year. Protesting myself would be more painless than dealing with these yahoos. Now, to deal with this year, guess I'll just have to end up paying more money for their math error than I would have paid the county. Gotta love an organization that's moved beyond customer service into profit margins as paramount!!!!
