Fudan University, referred to as Fudan, formerly known as Fudan University, National Fudan University. Founded in 1905, it is the first institution of higher learning founded by the Chinese. Located in Shanghai, China, it is considered to be one of the five universities in East China after Peking University and Tsinghua University. It is one of the first batch of 211 projects and the first batch of 985 projects in China. It has developed into an internationally renowned comprehensive and research-oriented university with the goal of building a world-class university.
