Staff were extremely rude when I called to inquire...

Staff were extremely rude when I called to inquire about what constitutes an emergency room visit for a certain condition. I don't understand the rudeness when I was trying to make sure I didn't go in there with something that was not actually an emergency, in order to not place a higher burden on their staff. I later spoke with a supervisor who was very kind, but it seems like the majority of the staff are not. I don't understand the cruelty administered to someone who is clearly trying to do things the right way. Where is the compassion? The care? This is NOT a hospital that I want to get any care at it. It honestly seems like it would be preferable to die. If they are treating patients with simple questions in this manner, how are they treating patients who are actually in the hospital receiving treatments?
