So first off, this review would be a 10 star if I was only reviewing the sunglasses, needless to say, this review is about the customer service and front office employees we experienced today. I never write reviews, but here I am, the only reason is that we feel strongly about the way we felt when we were at Maui Jim's in Lahaina today. While the girls were quick to address our requests for repairs, the air of unfriendliness was quite thick. We did not feel like they cared about anything that we had to say, compliments about Maui Jim pour out of our mouths, we have been loyal customer for over 16 years.
First impressions are so very important, we felt as if we were interrupting something or perhaps we were an inconvenience or a pest that you would like to quickly get rid of. While trying on new styles, no feedback was given nor any help, we had to ask prices and got quick short answers with not one tone of friendliness attached. I am all about customer service and making people feel welcome, never in my life would I like to make anyone feel unimportant to my business. Maui Jim is a huge brand and the front desk employees are not representing the brand well at all.
I am disappointed to be writing this review, I hope to find a better atmosphere next time I visit.
