The was hotel nicely renovated. but that's all. I had the worst ever experience with a 5star hotel.
We arrived and greeted by a very rude bell boy, then we waited for over half an hour to get our bags delivered upstairs.
Our room, which is a double room with an extra bed that we were paying extra for. Well, meaning 3 guests were staying in that room. The extra bed was setup, great, however there were only 2 set of towels... Rocket science. So we called the reception, nothing happened. We then asked the house keeping staff who happened to be in the hall, we politely explained and asked if we can have a extra towel. She replied "why, when are u checking out, why do u need extra towel..." basically questioned us like we were some kind of criminals. Finally got that extra towel, then the same thing happened the day after.
The week before i stayed in a small hotel in chinatown costed me SG$130 per night had given me better service.
