Really good restaurant. Definite 5 stars. As the name suggests, beef is the star attraction. The staff warns you, the menu warns you and I will warn you; if you get the star cut, a wagu fillet, it's 30-something bucks for 100g, the steak (for at least 2 ppl) is minimum 550g so ... drum roll ... it's a $192.50 steak (with a decent potato gallantine side).

Entrees were excellent - we had a flight of oysters and a trevalla ceviche / crudo, both really good.

The service was attentive and very well meaning, but could do with a little polish to match the steak. Little stuff like getting utensils and plates to the table in some semblance of order, nothing major. They kept my glass topped up, so all good.

Desserts all looked amazing; the caramel slice concoction we had was world class. Great wine list, lots of local stuff, fair pricing I suppose.

Must book - it's not huge and they were offering tables for 9:30pm at 7pm for those who hadn't. Quick tip - the web only had q table for 5:30pm but a quick call got us a better time.

Great experience overall, if a little expensive.
