I was surprised to see the negative reviews posted...

I was surprised to see the negative reviews posted by other interviewees and thought I should share my experience with Josh and Ben at Sourcewater. I initially submitted my resume for a position at their office in September of 2017 and while I wasn't contacted for that position, they kept my resume on file and ended up contacting me for a different role my skill set was more suited to some months later. They treated me with respect throughout the process, providing transparency for their expectations in the position and what they thought may be some stumbling blocks for me. They were willing to work around my schedule and asked me to think about an offer over the weekend. I didn't end up taking the position but appreciated their honesty and integrity throughout the interview process, so I felt compelled to write this review in order to clear up what are obviously some unwarranted criticisms of this company and the people running it.

If you're considering interviewing here, you should understand that as a technologically driven company, Sourcewater is going to expect a level of analytical thinking that produces results, regardless of the role. The fact that they've responded to criticisms here with clear and concise evidence, even going as far as posting direct correspondence of the incident, pretty obviously shows that they have conviction in their critiques and can back up the reasoning behind them.

Anyway, I'm hoping that Sourcewater is successful because it serves a specific niche in the O&G industry and cares about vetting their potential employees since they're such a small, but growing company.
