You never really what you're gonna have available ...

You never really what you're gonna have available during a lay over, and let's face it, you really don't associate good food and airports. We're always happy to get a quick bite of the usual fast food fare, or better yet some pub grub with a little local character. Pork and Pickle certainly impressed us.

While it's technically pub grub with a local character, it really rises above the standard fare. I won't rate it up as high in charm or flavor as some of my other KC BBQ places, but worth a taste if you get the chance.

We grabbed take out around 5PM on a Monday ... there were a few tables and seats at the bar available.
