This organization is absolutely amazing!! We adopted a dog, Fox, here just a few days ago, and were so impressed by the staff and volunteers!! The application process is detailed, and this is very important to me- it shows that they really care that each pet is placed into the correct home. We are from Detroit, so performing an adoption in Chicago could have been quite the challenge, but they were so accommodating and worked with us in every way possible to make our adoption an easy process.
When we initially started looking at Fox, several volunteers approached us to help answer our questions. The gentleman who performed our interview (I wish I could remember his name!) was patient, compassionate, and very helpful. Eric helped to complete the adoption process, and also did a fantastic job!
Fox was fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm/fecal tested when we adopted him. For such a reasonable adoption fee, they do so much to make sure that the pets are healthy when they leave. Fox is our absolute PRIDE AND JOY- you could not ask for a better companion! Because of this organization and its incredibly dedicated staff, our lives are changed forever- in the best of ways! Thank you very much for the great work that you do!!!!!!!!
