This place is beautiful at night! Small parking lot but you can see the blue LED lights surrounding the edges of the building from afar.
We got on the waitlist and received a text 40 minutes later for a party of 4 adults, 3 kids, and a dog. We got seated in the patio which had heaters above and very dim lighting that it was difficult for the kids to color. The tables weren t spaced apart but had the clear glass between tables. Inside seating had distancing and tons of cocktail and spirit products on the floor that you can purchase.
It s a four page menu and three of them were all sorts of spirits. Would have been four stars but knocked one off due to too much ice in my cocktail. I ordered rum mojito and was asked if I wanted it from the bar or canned. I said bar and had a choice of classic rum, pineapple rum, or black rum. Over 90% was all ice.
All the food were average and decent. I think it s more about the atmosphere and drinks.
Crispy chicken wings - choice of habanero Buffalo sauce or barrel aged rum mustard bbq sauce. We got the latter.
Mushroom and leaks Flat bread - fontina cheese, lemon cream sauce, mushrooms, leeks, arugula. Already feel healthy ordering this dish.
Chili spiced pork chicharrons - came with gaucachili sauce which didn t taste spicy to me.
**Charred sugar snap peas with burrata - crunchy and sweet. Another healthy dish.
**Red pepper umami Bread - OMG this was my favorite dish of the night. The bread was so good! Soft and moist. It s gojuchang sourdough bread with cutwater bourbon shoyu honey butter flavor. Gojuchang is a Korean chili paste but it wasn t spicy at all.
Smoked pork belly mac & cheese - I m not a Mac and cheese gal but this was alright. Not too cheesy because of the white cheddar. The pork belly was smoked not braised so it didn t really melt in your mouth.
We ordered all appetizers and one main dish as family style and ate between 4 adults. The three little kids shared a grilled cheese sandwich from the kids menu.
