I am putting Crowne Plaza on blast! I am a director of an eSports team and I booked my team with this establishment for 3 rooms. 10 days before this upcoming tournament (that is being held AT Crowne Plaza!), 2 of my players informed me that they can no longer attend the tournament due to unforeseen circumstances. I called Crowne to cancel 1 of the 3 rooms (7 days in advance!) because I would not have enough people to fill them.

I was then told that they have a non-refundable, full payment in advance policy which is absolutely ludicrous!!! This is an absolutely unheard of practice and a dirty, scumbag policy. I cannot think of a hotel, or even motel that does this!

Because of this, I am taking an unnecessary loss of $529.97.

If you plan on staying here, I hope that you don't get sick, or some of your friends can't make it, or your business meetings get canceled; because you will already be stuck with the bill with no chance to cancel. I will never be booking my team with Crowne Plaza again!

I will be sure to hunt out every forum and ratings guide to warn future customers of this ridiculous policy and money trap! Do not encourage this kind of crap by booking your rooms here! Stay away!
