I could not disagree with the two negative reviews...

I could not disagree with the two negative reviews of Green Mountain College more. The college experience is about choices. A university neither chooses a student's major nor dictates that student's choice of lifestyle. It is incumbent upon all of us to take personal responsibility for our failures and not deflect them in a proverbial "blame game". No college degree is "worthless" in the hands of a motivated, self starting individual.
My daughter will graduate from Green Mountain College in May, 2013 with a degree in Outdoor Adventure Education and a minor in History. . During her tenure at the university, I have seen a huge transformation in her both academically and emotionally. While the success that she has achieved has been her own, she has been supported by a tremendously dedicated faculty at Green Mountain. I could not be more pleased.
As I write this, she is studying Islamic Architecture with her GMC class in Morocco.
Worthless? I think not.
