I had questions about the warranty on a newly-installed Guardian a/c unit. It froze up immediately after installation. Because the installer (a one -worker company) was off-work for an uncertain duration because of an injury, I attempted to phone Customer Relations at the contact phone number given at the manufacturer s website, http://guardianhomecomfort.com. No live person ever answered, and I was given no option to leave a message. Instead I was told to call the warranty phone number (which they recited for me). I did, and a recording told me to call the Customer Relations number that I had already called first. I followed all instructions. Each number said to call the other number in an endless loop of ping-ponging between the two numbers, putting up a relentless stonewall.
