Five years ago my landlord decided to collect monthly rent using this firm. They have been horrible; my landlord now agrees and has decided to terminate the relationship. But when I tried to delete my SS# (used for credit reporting), RentPayment.com insisted that they couldn't--that my landlord would have to do it. Their logic (I won't get into it her) was laughable. The CA Department of Financial Protection and Innovation Consumer Services (formerly Dept. of Business Oversight) today encouraged me to file a complaint concerning this latest miscue, so I did. No matter if you're a tenant or landlord, stay away from this mismanaged firm!
