I came to AERA to see Dr Alsarraf because she had the first available opening out of the oncologists that Suki's primary vet recommended, and I am so grateful for that. Dr Alsarraf and her team have been amazing - not only with taking care of Suki, but for how they interact with me. It was an emotional wreck during my first visit with Dr Alsarraf - Suki just had a mast cell tumor removed from her chest and I was worried that the cancer may have spread.

One of the first things Dr Alsarraf did was give me a great big hug. I really needed it. That little action meant so much because so much had happened to Suki in such a little time. She and her team took their time to explain their findings and what Suki's options were. They let them know that I could ask them anything, any time.

Since that first visit, we have gone back to see Dr Alsarraf and her team 2 more times and they are great. I still get hugs, which I very much appreciate. It just really helps make me feel that I am not alone in going through this journey with Suki. Thank you so much.
