Adlabs Imagica Theme park is a decent place to spend a holiday with your family, friends or partner. As far as theme parks go, it doesn't really have any really innovative rides or world class attractions but rather sticks to a tried and tested formula. This isn't to say that it is boring but rather it doesn't throw any real surprises towards one who has been to other theme parks, in India and abroad, before.

Some rides I would highly recommend for first time visitors, are:

1. Hot Wheels Nitro roller coaster, which is one of the best rides in the park. It's blistering fast (105 Km/hr+) , has several hairpin turns and vertical loops and offers a truly adrenaline pumping experience.

2. Scream Machine:- It is a huge rotating swing that takes you up 150 feet in the air, 120 degrees side to side. You can see the whole park and surrounding areas from there. You are also guaranteed to scream your lungs out. Truly lives up to its name.

3. Deep Space Adventure:- It is an indoor roller coaster that simulates space travel. It is slower than the Nitro but still offers quite a bit of thrill.

4. Dare2Drop:- The pod launches up vertically to 40 metres and then hurtles down suddenly. Short but sweet ride that even kids can enjoy.

There are a few other good rides for kids and weak of heart adults like: Aladdin (a shooting game cum ride), Chotta Bheem (a small and slow roller coaster) and Rajasaurus River Adventure (a roller coaster with a water segment).

Food is frankly overpriced as is water. But this is inevitable in a theme park. In my opinion, the best restaurant for non vegetarians is Zeze bar and grill which offers some delectable chicken kebabs and skewers. Please avoid the red bonnet American diner, which is basically an inferior version of McDonald's that charges thrice as much.

I also suggest wearing caps and dark sunglasses as the intense heat during daytime can cause rapid dehydration. Also avoid playing any of the games in the stalls as there is no chance to win the prizes.
